Secondly, my children, most often my son, have taken to calling out for help when they are upset. If they get in trouble for hitting, or if they get upset because one takes a toy from the other – they cry. They cry, and they call out for help. Someone to save them from the horrible nightmare that is having a ball taken from you or being forced NOT to hit your sister.

They call, for El.mo. Sometimes Ab.by. Usually it sounds like, “Waahhhh, Eeeeellllllmooooooooooooohhhhhhhh. AAAAAbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Waahhhhhh.”

If only that worked when we were upset. We could call on our tv characters to help us. Who would you call?
